North East Link Project

North East Link Project

We’re proud to partner with Coates to support one of Victoria’s largest infrastructure projects – the North East Link in Melbourne – with specialist heavy transport and logistics solutions.

The North East Link project (led by the Spark consortium) will complete a long-awaited road connection between the M80 Ring Road and the Eastern Freeway, including the construction of 6.5 km twin tunnels slated to open in 2028. Our team is providing vital assistance by relocating site facilities and equipment to the project, in conjunction with Coates’s supply of portable buildings and machinery.

As of late May 2026, Nationwide’s team successfully delivered the first 2 × 12-metre site buildings to a North East Link work zone using our fully inducted SuperTilt tilt-tray trucks. All safety, width and height clearance requirements were met without a hitch, ensuring a smooth operation.

Site managers commended the careful, high-quality unloading process, noting how our crew protected the finished tunnel surfaces during delivery.

  • Delivered the first 2 × 12 m (roughly 40-foot) portable buildings to site using specialised high-capacity tilt-tray trucks, kicking off this major project’s logistics operations
  • Zero safety incidents – all project clearance and safety protocols were strictly followed, setting a high benchmark for ongoing deliveries

This early milestone marks just the beginning. Over the coming months, our partnership with Coates will see many more site compounds and equipment relocated as the North East Link progresses.

We’re proud to contribute to this landmark project with the same focus on safety, professionalism and precision that underpins everything we do.
